The BiennialWOODSTOCKBiennial 2007, a juried exhibitionThe Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild, in Woodstock NY is pleased to invite artists to submit to the premiere of the Woodstock Biennial at its Kleinert/James Arts Center. JurorNohra Haime, owner and director of the Nohra Haime Gallery on 57th street in New York City was born in Bogota, Colombia. She attended Finch College in Manhattan from 1970 to 1974 and received her Masters in Art History from the Sorbonne in Paris. Nohra has been the Director of the Museum of Modern Art [Bogota] as well as the Director of the National Restoration Center in Bogota. In 1979 she returned to New York where she opened the Nohra Haime Gallery that concentrates on contemporary art. She has curated a number of exhibitions as well as written many art related articles. CalendarExhibition DatesSaturday, October 20 – December 2, 2007 Opening ReceptionSaturday, October 20, 5 – 8 pm Delivery & PickupAll work must be received by 5 pm October 16. Work selected for the exhibition must be delivered to the Kleinert/James Arts Center, WBG 34 Tinker Street, Woodstock, NY. All work must arrive ready to hang. Work must be packaged in preparation for return shipping with return postage included. All packaging must be durable enough to be reused. Pickup dates: Monday, December 3, 10:30 – 5 pm, and Tuesday, December 4, 10:30 – 3 pm Liability & InsuranceThe Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild [WBG] is not responsible for shipping and insurance of work while it is in transit.
