Annual Members’ Show “Salon Style” – Open Mic

March 3, 2018 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
BYRDCLIFFE Kleinert/James Center for the Arts
36 Tinker Street

On March 3 at 8:00 pm, as part of the Annual Members’ Show Salon Style, Byrdcliffe’s Fourth Annual Open Mic Night will give member artists and other residents of the Hudson Valley community the opportunity to flaunt their talents beyond the visual. Singers, poets, banjo-players, comedians, story-tellers, actors, pontificators, and variants thereof are invited to take the mic. The Kleinert/James’ historic Steinway B will be rolled out for any who’d like to play. Participation is open to the first 15 performers who sign up; there will be a waiting list for additional people if time permits. The first 15 slots will be reserved for Byrdcliffe members, but other members of the community are encouraged to come.

The lively, spirited photographer and deejay Sabrina Asch, one of Byrdcliffe’s artist residents who lives at the historic art colony, will emcee the event. Admission is free and open to the public.
