The Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild is a multi-arts membership organization. Its Kleinert/James Arts Center hosts local and national performing, visual and literary artists. The WBG offers a variety of classes in the arts and is steward of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony.Founded in 1903, Byrdcliffe is one of the older artists colonies in the country, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its historical and architectural significance. It is home to a national Artist in Residence program. |

Exhibition Dates: August 7 thru September 12, 2010 An exhibition of the recent paintings, videos, and photographs of Gary Stephan will be on view at the Kleinert/James Arts Center from Saturday, August 7 through September 12, 2010. Gary Stephan ‘Painting And’ will open with a public reception Saturday, August 7 from 4:00-6:00 pm. The artist will give a talk amidst his work, followed by a discussion, on Sunday, September 5th at 4:00 in the Kleinert/James Arts Center. We're mostly interested in functional ceramics (mugs, bowls, vases, etc.), jewelry, wooden pieces (bowls, platters, etc.), textiles (rugs, scarves, pillows, etc.), lamps, and small furniture pieces (side tables, stools, chests, etc.). All pieces will be sold on consignment basis.
