GET INVOLVED

Byrdcliffe relies on the dedication and commitment of volunteers to help in a multitude of ways. We offer a wide range of opportunities that are subject to availability and applicant’s qualifications. Training is provided by staff.

The Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild also offers internship opportunities all year round. Byrdcliffe seeks individuals who are curious, highly motivated, technically skilled, and wish to participate in Byrdcliffe’s diverse offerings. Applicants should enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment.

NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS GRANT
Byrdcliffe is very pleased to report that the organization received a generous 3-year grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for general operating support.

All 2015 Byrdcliffe arts programming is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS GRANT
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced on December 2, 2014 that the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild is one of 919 nonprofit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. Byrdcliffe will receive a $10,000 grant to support its Artist in Residence Program and related artistic activities.

Art Works grants support the creation of art, public engagement with art, lifelong learning in the arts, and enhancement of the livability of communities through the arts. The NEA received 1,474 eligible applications under the Art Works category, requesting more than $75 million in funding. Of those applications, 919 have been recommended for grants for a total of $26.6 million.
