SUMMARY:A Classical Holiday with Pianist Katya Grineva
DESCRIPTION:Purchase tickets \nByrdcliffe is thrilled to announce a special\, holiday performance by acclaimed pianist Katya Grineva. On Sunday\, December 13\, 2026\, at 3:00 PM\, Katya will play the grand Steinway at the Kleinert James Gallery (34 Tinker St\, Woodstock\, NY) and present a holiday recital prior to her performance at Carnegie Hall.  \nKatya’s remarkable journey began in Moscow\, where she started studying piano at the age of six. She came to the United States in 1989\, as a young pianist with two aspirations: to continue her musical education and\, one day\, to perform at Carnegie Hall. Ten years later she made her Carnegie Hall debut on May 13\, 1998. What began as a dream grew into an extraordinary artistic tradition\, with Katya returning to Carnegie Hall for more than two decades of celebrated performances\, including her signature holiday concerts. \nKatya will be making a stop at the Kleinert James Gallery prior to her scheduled concert at Carnegie Hall on December 27\, 2026. She will perform songs for the season with selections from Bach\, Beethoven\, Chopin\, Gershwin\, Mozart\, Ravel\, Schubert\, Tchaikovsky\, and others. \n  \nAbout Katya Grineva \nThroughout her international career\, Katya has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Acadiana Symphony\, ARS Nova Musicians Chamber Orchestra\, Manhattan Virtuosi Orchestra\, and European Philharmonic Orchestra in France. Her recital appearances have included prestigious venues and cultural institutions in the United States and Europe\, including Salle Gaveau in Paris. Since 1998\, she has held the distinguished title of Steinway Artist\, recognizing her association with one of the world’s most respected piano makers. \nKatya channels her lifelong passion for music into her nonprofit organization\, Katya Concerts for Kids\, which brings the transformative power of classical music to underserved children and communities. Katya was recently honored with a “Genius Grant” from the Helen Gurley Brown \nFoundation\, recognizing her commitment to using music to inspire\, educate\, and create meaningful opportunities for children who might otherwise have limited access to the arts. \n$35 Byrdcliffe members\n$40 Not-yet-members\n$40 day of show \nPurchase tickets
