SUMMARY:An Evening with Tim Moore
DESCRIPTION:PURCHASE TICKETS \nByrdcliffe is pleased to welcome back musician Tim Moore for one night only. Moore’s sold-out 2025 concert was a highlight of Woodstock’s summer music season\, and this year the Woodstock resident returns with a new mix of songs and the same band. Respected as a top-tier writer by songsmiths ranging from Jimmy Webb to Keith Richards\, Moore is known for the stylistic reach of his songs\, from guitar rock and blues to heart-rending piano ballads. That nimble genre-crossing may help explain both his unusual career and his singular niche in music history. \nIn much of the world\, Moore is best known for his piano ballad “Second Avenue.” In Brazil\, he became a star with his number-one pop song “Yes.” His guitar riffs on his rock anthem “Rock and Roll Love Letter” sparked a friendship with Keith Richards\, leading to memorable all-night jam sessions with the Rolling Stones. Moore recalls\, “Locking in with Charlie Watts night after night was one of the great thrills of my life.” \nMoore’s many musical strands came together in last year’s Byrdcliffe concert. “There’s no theater anywhere like Byrdcliffe\,” Moore says. “It’s over a century old. You can do anything—be intimate or rocking and it fits. It feels like the ghosts of the place are listening.” Asked what might be different this time\, Moore says\, “My band was so sharp last year. Besides playing new songs\, and a surprise cover or two\, we might loosen up and jam more this time. Things could get grittier.” \nMoore’s band features longtime sideman Rob Stein on pedal steel and guitars\, Manuel Quintana on drums\, and Kyle Esposito on bass. Sarah Power and Bruce Milner will join for vocal harmonies. \nByrdcliffe members: $30\nNot-yet-members: $35\nPURCHASE TICKETS
