Byrdcliffe’s Residency Program is open to practitioners in all fields of the Visual, Literary and Performing Arts. We provide both Communal and Individual Residency opportunities. We are currently accepting applications for the Spring Individual Residency period February 23rd – April 23rd 2026.
Every year the Byrdcliffe Artists-in-Residence program provides over 60 visual artists, writers, architects, and composers of exceptional talent uninterrupted creative time within the serene natural setting of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony.
Cottage residencies offer artists live/work space within the larger creative community of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony amidst the serene natural setting of Woodstock, New York. While cottage residencies are more autonomous by nature, artists-in-residence are invited to participate in a variety of program offerings at Byrdcliffe.
