Fellowships are an opportunity for you to make a significant impact on the life and work of a creative individual. For many artists your support will provide them an opportunity to experience Byrdcliffe as an Artist-in-Residence or student of one of our craft disciplines, for one year. A Class fellowship covers three classes in one year, and an Artist-in-Residence Fellowship covers a one month long session.

Your support will allow an artist to spend uninterrupted time at the Byrdcliffe Art Colony. Fellowships start at $800 per year per artist and go up to $1,800 which includes a full scholarship and travel stipend. Class fellowships are $800 and allow an artist to take three classes per fellowship year. Fellowships are also available for people of color, LGBTQ+, artists affected by natural disasters, women, low income, and others.
