Fellowships

Byrdcliffe offers a number of fellowships each year based on a combination of artistic merit and financial need, ranging from partial to full coverage of residency fees. To be eligible for a fellowship, artists must submit the first two pages of their most recent tax return with their application.

  • BIPOC Fellowship (Full fee)
  • Bernard and Shirley Handel Playwright Fellowships (Full fee)
  • Milton and Sally Avery Fellowships for Visual Artists (Full fee)
  • Ceramics Fellowship (Full and Partial fee)
  • The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant for Artists Affected by Natural Disaster (Full fee stipend, and travel)
  • The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant for Artists (for multi-session and cottage residencies)
  • Donor Funded Arts & Crafts (Full and Partial fee & stipend)

“Full fee” means the grant covers the full residency fee for one communal session.
