Byrdcliffe offers a number of fellowships each year based on a combination of artistic merit and financial need, ranging from partial to full coverage of residency fees.

  • Milton and Sally Avery Fellowships for Visual Artists (Full fee)
  • Ceramics Fellowship (Full and Partial fee)
  • The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant for Artists Affected by Natural Disaster (Full fee stipend, and travel)
  • Donor Funded Arts & Crafts (Full and Partial fee & stipend)
  • The Henrietta Mantooth AiR 2026 Fellowship for Artists in Socioeconomic Need (Full fee)
  • The Annual Wagner Fellowship for Musical Performance (Full fee)

“Full fee” means the grant covers the full residency fee for one communal session.
